Facilities Manager
Oversee the various functions of facilities management in keeping with the strategic focus of the organization. Perform functions that add value to the facilities including but not limited to maintenance for the buildings, grounds, equipment, company vehicles, monitoring and adjusting the computerized energy management system, partnering with external contractors, and contributing to the safety, comfort, and security of employees and others that work or visit the facilities. Provide leadership to the facilities management team.
Qualifications:
Requires BS or associate degree and 3 to 5 years of facility management experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all facility maintenance functions across Minnesota facilities. Leadership of the facilities management team - planning, assigning, and prioritizing assignments and projects; performance management, development, and problem resolution. Accountable for the general security of the facilities and operation of the building security systems. Responsible for the facilities' Energy Management System. Prepare budgets for the maintenance of all Minnesota facilities and propose and manage capital expenditures for related projects. Negotiate, sign, and manage contracts and leases on behalf of the organization. Perform preventative maintenance to buildings, grounds, and equipment and prioritize and perform repairs amongst the facilities team. Report defective equipment and recommend repair or replacement in a timely manner. Responsible for project management and problem-solving of the facilities.
