About the positionAs the Systems Engineer, you will assist with systems design, pre-planning, programming, commissioning, and training.
The Systems Engineer provides technical support, research and development, and several other activities related to problem-resolution and client satisfaction of systems.
Day in the life Supporting the design of audio visual, wireless or security systems to meet customer needs according to best industry practices and Company guidelines while complying with all applicable building codes and legal requirements.
Assisting with determining material quantities in the amounts needed to complete projects according to bid specifications.
Aiding in the development and creation of systems documentation, including pre-sale system drawings, system installation drawings and other system documentation.
Assisting with planning, coordination, and performing programming of systems and other integrated components to meet customer and system operational needs.
Helping to ensure all assigned systems are being installed, programmed, tested, and commissioned according to current industry and company standards.
Providing support in creating systems-testing and commissioning reports.
Thoroughly tests and commissions system components to ensure optimal system performance.
Assisting with performing change orders and system-related measures following Company standards and industry best practices.
Collaborates with systems specialists during the installation of integrated systems.
Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with the design and implementation of installed systems, including programming, scheduling, and commissioning experience.
Experience with and strong understanding of data networking including computing, physical security systems software, storage, SQL databases and physical security systems components.
Extensive project management training and skills.
Thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
In-depth experience with LEAN methodologies and applications.
Strong process orientation.
Manufacturer platform certifications for 2N, AiPhone, Axis Communications, Hanwha Security, Panasonic Security, Suprema Bioconnext, or Zenitel Stentofon preferred.
Experience with physical security systems software, storage, and SQL databases.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for expanding knowledge and skills to meet the needs of a dynamic technology office while directly contributing to the success of others.
Strong organizational, critical thinking skills and detail oriented.
Strong leadership, customer focus and decision-making skills.
Solid financial, analytical and mathematical skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
